Trail rides on Saturdays in July x3 (14,21,28th)

Hew, says the motorway is closed so we can't use it.

Bullshit, we're the re-openning committee!

And what's all this that your giving 1200 owners some grief? I hope that's not true.......................
Don't forget Timmy, I have a 12.......

Timpo.

Timpo,
Just had a pm from Tim asking if we can go up Heartbreak Hill and Allt Y Badi on Sunday just to top things off after the Motorway on Saturday.
He wanted to ask himself but he thought you might not let him being as he has been picking on 1200.:augie

:jes

Am I upto it??

Hi Timpo,
I could do the 14th :blast lol.. but not the 21st.. :( but can do the 28th..
Question is.... is the DRZ and me upto it??

Would love to give it a shot.. just dont want to hold you guys up.

Rocks, the 28th will be a difficult ride.
The scenery is fantastic though, as long as the weather's good, and the trails are some of the best.
As usual, nobody get's left behind, but it will be a very taxing ride and fitness will play a decent part.
Choice of riding gear, and tyre condition will be important, the bogs will be deep on The Motorway, and body temperature will be up.
If you think your up for it, then I'll see you at the RV in Dolgellau.

Timpo.

would you say this is medium, hard or impossible to be done on an HP, with an average at everything bloke sitting on top(lying under it). As I've got a little bit of time and might be able to find wales with the GPS and the bike in the back of the van to save knobblies...

Oh 21st ! cos I've got to pretend to do something else on the other dates.

Two day event on the 28th & 29th suits me & Loz. :thumb2

Will have new Comp 3's fitted.

Any decent B&B's in the area?

Yes Lo-iq.....
HP2 will be fine for the 21st July (Mold/Denbigh/Ruthin area), one or two diversions will be given at points where 'larger' trailbikes can not gain passage.
There will be one or two fords to cross, but seems it's not a KTM, you should be ok.:augie
Will you need a B&B accommodation?

Timpo.

Mold ride:- 0900hrs start.

OK Folks, it looks like the 21st July will see us riding the Mold, Denbigh and Ruthin area. The ride will start earlier than usual, as I need to be home handy.
The trails are very muddy at the moment so choose your tyres carefully.
Meeting at 0900hrs at:-

E.R Williams
Bromfield Ind Est
Gas Lane
Mold
Clwyd
CH7 1UR

Which is here:-

The ride will include a breakfast stop at Ruthin.
Fuel is readily available at petrol stations en-route.

Timpo.:thumb2

Just to remind you that Mold/Denbigh/Ruthin ride is a 0900hrs start.

hi rocks, i'd just say that the AdvRider rally in Rhayader was the equivalent of a ride across the car park compared to the route on the 28th & 29th....... :thumb2

cool... just got to fix the fork seals I'll promise to fall off a few times (at least) and generally make a complete prat of myself. Is B+B the done thing or should I just rough it in the van look smelly and dejected or I could put the tent up.

good point I meant to add I'm average to shit off road...

No probs, the usual HP2 rider has not yet impressed us, right Timmy?:hide

You do what ever you want regarding accommodation. See you at the RV, don't be late or we're off.

Timpo, the twat!:green gri

Right that's it then, Dolgellau it is.
This means this is a difficult ride, enduro/motocross tyres only. And no novice riders.
Packed lunch to be carried.
The Motorway is blocked and may take some serious deviating to pass.:green gri
The RV will be here, at 0915 to leave 0930 prompt:-

The RV will be in the Long Stay Car Park at the above location.
Hopefully we can get to Happy Valley and maybe do The Axle Breaker. King's Road is on Rick.:thumb2
There maybe one or two fords to cross, which are not shallow. (WD40, etc)
There is a rumor that 'the' John Mills maybe making an appearance.:bow

If I have enough interest:nenau , I may turn this into a two day ride, and do the Llangollen/Oswestry loop on the Sunday. I may have access to a field near Llangollen to camp on Saturday evening.

OK, how does that all sound?

Timpo.

Just to make sure this long stay carpark does not have a height restriction? and this is the link to location?

I've just looked on the map it's page 54 man.... I might need to drive up the night before.
