Hello people

I recall the delight of riding in the wet on trail wings many years ago - not really something I'd like to experience again.

But I haven't tried one for ages - is the general consensus that you'd not touch 'em, or have they improved since a few years ago?

I ask cos I have a brand new rear TW that cost me nowt and I could use it for a blast down to Spain and back ... or do I flog it on Ebay and get some Tourances?

Trailwings are no more (and bloody good riddance!!).

They've been replaced by Battlewings

I wouldn't put one on my bike. Get some Pirelli MT90 Scorpions instead.

Battlewings are very good. I have them on my 1150GS.
Trailwings were and are rubbish. :flush
Good luck with the sale

My 1200 came with Trailwings at first I thought :blast but must admit they have been very good, will try the Battlwings next, but no complaints with the TW's, as good as the Tourance on the 1150.

Snap, sort of :o mine's got the Battlewings on, it'll be "interesting" to see if they're an improvement.

Cheers all

I figure I might as well use it up blasting down to Spain and back - hopefully it will mostly be dry ...
