:) We will have our 1970 Camper Van up and running this summer....with a towing point.... so, for the best of both worlds (and so that we can take both bikes up to the Lakes and do a dry-run for the Pink Challenge) does anyone know where we can get a trailer for 2 bikes - that we can use -- either hiring or buying (hiring being the preferred option as we have nowhere to put yet another vehicular appendige (we have 2 bikes; a work van, a camper van and a car!!) so that we can tow our bikes to where we are staying and then tootle about with our son on the back!!
MAny thanks in advance of thoughts :bow

There are some pretty cheap 2-bike trailers on eBay - but be a bit careful, some of the cheaper ones are home made, so I don't know how robust they would be.

What ever you buy, make sure that you grease the wheel-bearings and have a spare tyre. These are about the only two components that could fail with significantly delaying results.

Yes :( - I must admit I am wary of second-hand trailers. A bike instructor from a school in North London was killed on a stretch of road when a trailer fell apart and piled into him - whilst he was training a couple DAS trainees. I think a wheel had fallen off. MAkes me worry abit with a heavy load on. Thanks for your help guys! :beerjug: I'll look up on ebay and on that site - although hiring is our preferred option. :clap
