gotta take Kermit the green tranny van to south of France in January for a week and got a £254 quote from Brittany ferries. Any ideas if this is good value? average? better deals? where to look?
Thanks

Was quoted a bit higher when I wanted a crossing from the Bognor area.
Booked with Sea France, Dover to Calais in the end at £75 return. Used them for two more trips and the highest was £79 rtn.

Used Norfolk line once in September at £125 rtn.

Transmanche Ferries/LD Lines

Portsmouth - Le Havre around £165

I booked my Suzuki van with P&O Dover-Calais on Tuesday. When I put in 'van' it came back with £75 single; I tried it again with Suzuki car and it's £17 return. I reckon that Suzuki MOPED might have been pushing my luck:augie

Try Transmache ferries Newhaven to Dieppe. Little used well kept secret and usually cheapest route.
