Hey up fella`s - got me new TE GSA today woohoo (the lovely lady on it is the famous Shelly who looks after my ass and my business)

I`ve had a few of the lads ask me if the parts they have kindly bought off me are transferable to the new GSA. TBH I really don`t know but seemingly the crud catcher does fit.

What I am going to do is transfer all the parts over so I can be sure but in the meantime if any of us has any problems then give me a shout (PM even) and I will try to help as soon as I can.

The first thing I am doing (the bike has 27 miles on it!) is transferring the toolbox - quite a few of the lads have asked me to do this so its my first job.

So, call me if you have any problems - I am busy as a loon but I will try to help where I can) :thumb2

And, oh yes, I`m going to do all the parts in black satin so it goes with the engine etc etc

Not one for hanging about

Well, I`ve done the toolbox and its been dropped off at the powder coaters.

Not being one to stand around (have you ever done any work for Nuts ) I can confirm that the front crud DOES fit the new GSA :thumb2

But still, if anyone does have problems changing over then please PM me :thumb2

Nice bike Mark, the blue looks better though!:P

Are the LED spots standard?

Hiya Nuts, long time no gibber - hope this finds you well and that Mrs Nuts is also well too :)

Blue is an acquired taste IMHO but I respect all the geezers who have gone for that colour :thumb2

And yes, I fink the LED spots are standard on the TE mate. I`m sure much more knowledgeable geezers will put me right if I am wrong.

Thanks fella, its very nice but borderline on being too high for me.

Ride safe pal.

You'll get used to it, it's only a problem when you stop :D

Side stand foot for this bike, is that something you would be interested in adding to your portfolio? Just wondering..........

I've looked and there's very few for this model and none that I like, I was thinking about something like the Wunderlich item for the GS LC, it doesn't fit the ADV I've tried, but fair play Rainbow gave me a full refund.

Hi Mark,
Do the rad covers transfer? Are they the same on both bikes?
Is the toolbox you mentioned the one that fits inside the pannier frame that need s to be adapted to the other side now that they have the exhaust on the other side?
Like the idea of matt black - exactly what I had in mind!
Thanks

yes, only when I stop - a bit unnerving TBH. One slip and I feel it will be away from me.

Yes I would be interested in doing a sidestand foot for it - I need firstly to try my best to let the lads know (who have already bought parts) if they can be transferred from the GS to the GSA :thumby:

Dunno mate - its the next on the list to transfer and advise - I`m going as fast as I can fella!

And yes you are right about the toolbox - within an hour of getting the bike I was straight on with it - you have my full permission to say `get a life and ride that bike` (which I really hope to do soon............)

Ha - gonna order a pair. Not because I'm of that persuasion but coz it's funny. Not sure if they will do them in my size........

Mark

Is that the touring or sport version in the photo?

I am interested in the crud catcher, radiator guards and headlight guard - probably drop inn with the readies!

PS - great colour choice! Mine is very similar!

It's the touring mate, I do like the sports myself but a lot of the lads have bought the touring so to me it seemed right that I tried this type first. And yes thank you, once I have sorted out the transferral I would be very pleased to make some stuff for you for some wine tokens

Other stuff that fits

Fella`s the rad protectors, rear crud and front deflector all transfer onto the GSA without any problems (unless you are trying to fit a 2013 rad protector to a 2014 bike - and if so ring me)

Now I`m off to go and ride the damn thing. If I can only reach the ground...................
