Transfer video to DVD - is this the best way?

I'd buy a DVD recorder and do it real time, don't use a PC it'll only add hassle and pain.

even better a HDD recorder and DVD burner... dead easy to use and all it does is waht it says on the tin, not fancy software and PC's that want to log on www. or check for viruses every five mins...

I've an office setup and we use to do it for 6 pounds a VHS plus materials blank DVD's and cases, best quality you get just over one hour of VHS of footage per DVD.

best of luck

I've got a DVD recorder - is it as simple as plugging in my video recorder and recording onto DVD like that?

obviously use the VHS output to the DVD recorder input on the aux input it should be labelled. select that on the remote and have the TV connectde to the other output from the DVD recorder so you can see what your doing.

If you stop the recording it'll make chapters on the DVD...

the main thing is to remember to finalise the disc or it won't play on any other DVD player:blast

best of luck
