gents, i have IMO successfully mastered the art of making routes with my mapsource!! i save these to my computer, now the problem i am having is when i want to send multiple routes, ie 5 days worth of riding to my device , i can only transfer 1 route at a time to my 220, i then have to unplug the unit, import the route from file and replug in and send another one, can someone PLEASE tell me in laymans terms how to transfer all my required routes all at the same time?? i am using a zumo 220 with a 4gb micro SD inside.

all help appreciated,

mike

Save the routes as a GPX file. With your Garmin connected via USB you should see a folder on the internal memory called 'Garmin' inside this there should be another folder called 'GPX'. Drop your route GPX files in there and then, having disconnected, load from the menus.

As per the spec you can only load 10 routes at any one time into the menu for access and routing. However, you can have as many as you like, within reason, in the 'GPX' folder.

You can also create a '/Garmin/GPX/' folder on your SD card, the load routes menu should check in there, if it exists, as well.
