Please may I have some help please

Trying todo a route for a friend into the south of France

Using mapsource at the moment as still getting my head round basecamp

1, Just did the latest upgrade to 2013 but only shows uk and Ireland. How do I get France onto his sat nav. And the best way to do it.

2. Am trying to do overnight stops every 250 miles. However when I look at directions and ask to show a particular location on the map it does not seem to do it. Any advice please

3. How do you stop the fuel warning keep coming up when you turn on the sat nav?

Thanks for any help

I'm not sure that I can help with the rest. But the fuel guage is easy. Hit the 'page' (2nd up on the left) button a few times, then reset. You can also set the range.

You need his PC to install the French maps - your maps are only licensed for your Satnav.

In Mapsource, to transfer maps, click on Tools>Map and then select the maps tab. Zoom out and click on the map tiles that you want to transfer, then send them to the device.

I don't know if that is what you are doing, but when trying to find a place, you have to click OK in the screen. Clicking cancel takes you back to where you last were. If it's not that then maybe you haven't got the full European mapping installed, or selected (look at the bar top left, just under the File menu and check that it says something like "City Navigator 2013.1"

Not quite. Hit the page button until you see the virtual dashboard and then tap on the fuel gauge - you are then prompted to reset the gauge.
