Transferring tracks from PC to unit:
I've transferred tracks from an earlier ride to a file & saved it & I'm having trouble transferring it back to my unit.
I've done it before with files people have sent me but recently the tracks won't transfer.
I get a message saying 'successful' but they're not there.
I've set up tracks to be viewed up to 5 miles but even zoomed right in they're not there.

I thought it may be the unit acting up but I have 3 SP3s & it won't transfer to any of them. It will transfer waypoints & routes fine but not tracks.

Any ideas?

I've had similar problems with a Nav II - some track logs can be read ok by Mapsource, but are just not compatible with the unit - I never did work out a fix for it

Transferring tracks

You could try using WinGDB3 to change your tracks to routes, and then send the routes up to the unit. Also consider whether you are running into some sort of limitation on the unit as to the number of points in the saved track.
