Travel towels

They are ...

... excellent space-savers and work well; Top Tip - buy the largest you can find ! Still small in comparison to a 'normal' towel when packing, but much more absorbent :thumb

Make sure you get the type that is very similar texture to microfibre towels. The sort that feels like an old sponge are rubbish.

There all rubbish ............... :comfort

Get yourself to Ikea .................. :clap

They sell large grey bath towels for 99p that are thin , light and dry quickly ...... :)

Take a pair of scissors and cut the towel to the size you want and you'll have enough left for a hand towel and face cloth .. :bounce1

PS ... Remember to put a hem back on though ...

I use an xl Karrimor travel towel. It is just large enough that even my (6'2" 17 stone) modesty is maintained when using it as a beach towel wrapped round my waist. At the same time, it packs down really small. Feels like you're rubbing a car with a chamois when you're using it, but it works. For any trip long enough that I need to take a towel I use it. For short 1 or 2 night trips wild camping, I just smell.
