Triangular holes in 1150 screen

Some time ago i came across a thread about cutting 3 triangular holes in the bottom of an 1150 screen,which was supposed to eliminate buffeting.I have an old screen i would like to try it on,i have searched and searched but cannot find the thread anywhere,can anyone point me in the direction.

I seem to remember there was a thread on ADVRider, probably by Ricardo Kuhn, where he investigated the venturi effect of holes in the screen.

Alternatively, you could just get an MRA screen and save all that faffing about.

I have had a vario screen on for 3mnts now,i just do not seem to be able to get on with it.
It is ok when riding on my own, but when Joanne is on the back it seems to alter the whole areodynamics and it goes back to buffeting despite trying every combination of adjustment.

buy some tobinators and try that with the mra screen as a combo.
