trickle charger

hi all just picked up a 2003 1150GS, non abs, in yellow, looking for advice on trickle chargers, whats everyone using, thanks.

No need to spend the fortune asked by Optimate - there are several cheaper 'intelligent' chargers available on the web that do exactly the same job of backing off the charge down to a tiny monitored trickle after the main charge is complete. But if you invest in a Lithium ion Potassium whatever at over £150 & a quarter of the weight of a regular gel battery, with five times the available cranking current, you have to buy the special charger - a regular one won't do.
