Can anyone recommend a good clean, not to expensive Pension in Trier or surrounding area ??

I've stayed in this hotel several times when on bike trips. www.blesius-garten.de/english

They have private off road parking, a nice indoor swimming pool, an onsite brewery, a good beer garden, great food. It is about a 20 minute walk into the city centre and you will pass the well preserved mini collseium on the way in.

stayed here a while ago - small family run hotel/pension. Just a short walk to the Porta Nigra. Parking off road at the rear. Small supermarket nearby. Gets 4/5 on Tripadvisor. We stumbled on it when the weather turned nasty and decided to call it a day for riding at lunchtime. Popped in the tourist office next to Porta Nigra and they introduced us. Liked the place and Trier we stayed 2 nights to have a day exploring Trier. Great place.
