Trip through Eu and down to Egypt

Hi All

The name of this forum suits me down to the ground - I have never joined one of these things so here goes!

I could do with any advice concerning: Where to get the best deal on Carnet, insurance sites/agents, travelling through Greece and Turkey - anyone done the ferry from Brindisi to Greece, or Turket to Cyprus to Egypt. What is the Greek/Turkey border crossing like (to Istanbul)Has anyone ever freighted their bike from Egypt to India? I know it sounds a bit wacky - but I suspect if it is you will tell me!
