Thought i would do a quick write up on my trip to Asutria plus videos of the Stelvio and Timmelsjoch

Bikes: My R1200GSA triple Black, an R1200GS LC, a R1200GSA LC, an '02 blade and an '09 Speed Triple (returned home minus an indicator, half a clutch lever and damaged engine casing - more about that further on and the link to the video showing the triples lack of enthusiasm to have its picture taken)

After getting everyone together and passing lorry after lorry on the M20, before being diverted round the houses, back to the M20 (passed yet more lorries)

Pfunds was our base for four days and i can recommened this as a great place to stay - all hotels are biker friendly and it was only 160 mile round trip up the Stelvio and down the other side, onto the Bernina Pass back to the hotel, also it was about the same mileage to the Timmelsjoch pass and back again. (See youtube link for the videos of the last 15mins of the run up the Stelvio and the last 15mins of the run up the Timmelsjoch Pass)

The quality of the videos is outstanding, very steady and sharp colours. The Stelvio video was marred somewhat by the aluminium tea tray pushing the bloke in the middle of the picture:D
Also, no pictures of plates of food and ageing grinning biker mates.

Great pics and videos! Awesome location for the cam on that second video down. Was it GoPro?

cheers, yes it was a GoPro - the entry level £100 one to be precise, bought it just before the trip so was experimenting with mount locations.
