Trip to Morocco Dep 16th Dec 09 via P&O to Bilbao.

I am planning a trip to Morocco leaving 16th Dec 09 from Portsmouth to Bilbao (arrive 18th Dec).

I am open to other riders joining for any stage of the trip.

Am riding a Yamaha XT600e, looking for back roads and offroad wherever possible. I usually tour alone and am never shy of talking to random strangers and getting involved in local goings-on but it is always good to have riding buddies. I am a teacher so I have some extended time over Christmas holidays.

I aim to ride through Spain as quickly as possible and cross into Morocco around 20th/21st December and spend 12-13 days seeing places. No other plans as yet. I need to be on the Bilbao ferry on 5th Jan (arrive UK 6th Jan). Might consider return ferry from Portugal to UK if it exists.

If you will be out there already or want to share cabin costs on the 16th, get in touch (no snorers please!)

Am experienced off road and done a lot of international riding so hopefully i will be able to keep up with you...!

New Years in Morocco

I have no idea but let's keep in touch. I will be crossing back to Spain on the 3rd so will likely be Fes or further north...
