Dinner's up!

Hello, hello, helloooooooooo!!!!!!

Just gotthe phone charged and ordered my final v and dc.

Fed and watered. Heading for my bunk to annoy the neighbours with my award winning snoring. Will post a fuller report with copious piccies over the weekend but the ride is up there with my all time favourites.

As Johnny said the kids at the primary school were fantastic and we now have an official decal and logo for the trip.

As for the road itself have to admit it was an emotional ride, just staggerineg to think one man did it all.

Ttfn

Thunder

Ps GC your a star and The Lochy coffee was as always justwhat the doctor ordered.

Pps the bikes boggin but was a dream to ride.

We went to Raasay primary school to meet the kids who had designed a sticker for the bikes.

Out of 17 stickers we could only choose 1 and to be honest it wasn't an easy decision.
Anyway 16 kids got a packet of colouring pencils and the winner a World Atlas. Thunder has the sticker design in his pocket and I wouldn't like to be in his shoes if he looses it

Thats good stuff fellers, well done :thumb :clap

Also encouraging to read that there are 17 kids at Raasay school, I am reading Culums road (slowly) and in the book, the school is currently closed. Maybe that road did help.

I'm hame and cream crackered

Finally back in front of a full sized keyboard so for those waiting with baited breath its time to unveil the design we selected for the decal and also after some discussion with HRH last night one we will be using as a logo on the website.

I would point out this was a joint decision made by HRH and myself and not as he took great delight in telling 17 excited primary school kids " I couldnee pick one so Roger had to do it!" Bastard came to mind but by extreme control on my part stayed theere and did make it to my lips!

So here it is the official Calum's Road 2010 decal in all its glory

For the website logo we are going to go with this, it's a picture rather than a scan as we are going to have to pick it up next week.

All the kids put in a lot of effort with their designs, I can only echo what HRH has already said it was not an easy thing to do selecting one but the deed is done and I've been in touch with Gary the Sticker to ge things moving.

ON the trip itself I'll be posting a bit of a trip report when I get some sleep but just to wet your appetites heres a couple of pictures in no particular order including some of the road.

Well done chaps and well done the school kids!

Look forward to seeing the stars (and you two) on the TV.

Quick update on the decal front, here's a draft of how it will look:

Thoughts from the collective?

Good stuff. :thumb2

Could you do a version with the 'Calum's Road 2010' in the same colour as the kid's writing? Just as a comparison.

Who's we:D

I picked this pic because the bike in the drawing doesn't have any of those sticky out bits on the engine
