Are both bikes Triple Blacks. Tank on one is a lighter colour?

I’m not sure, but I thought it was the forks & seat that shows it’s a triple black, I have a 90th edition that comes with the gold colour tank side panels and had them powder coated in satin black.....so maybe that’s what happened here

Looks like a TB to me. Graphite Grey rear subframe and final drive.

Hard to make a comparison in these photos of the tank paint, apart from the obvious difference in the side panels - but those could have easily been changed/painted/wrapped to suit the owner's desire.

They’re both triple blacks, one’s had the tank wrapped ;)

..or is the earlier version.....BMW bowed to consumer piss take that the TB wasn't TB enough so last 2 model years (i think) had black tank panels.

I have a 2012 GSA TB, which is identical to the one in the top photo. Agree with Nutty the one in the bottom photo has had the tank wrapped or re-painted.

TB or not TB ...that is the question!

This was my factory fresh TB in 2013 with OEM black panels (either that or Aussie spec) The one in the pics could have had it wrapped or be a 2013.

Powder coat the crash bars and head protectors, then wrap the panniers and the job would be oxo.
