Triple Black GSA

I didn't think that it would be long, they're bringing out a Triple Black GSA. The pictures aren't the best but it doesn't look as good as the GS version and they've left the seat standard.

It does look nice but they could have put a bit more effort in and finished it, tinted screen, special edition seat, carbon Akro etc. They will charge a little more for it as it will have black forks, engine and swing arm but unlike the GS version the spoked wheels are already fitted and the seat is the standard one.

I'd still think about a trade in though!

Agreed, it looks almost identical to my 2010 charcoal grey GSA, but instead of charcoal gey which is pretty dark anyway, its balck on the beak and tank.

I was at bsb at snetterton the weekend, they had a bmw stand there all the bikes in the range was having a sit on the gsa next to a gs triple black i said to the bmw guy it would look good in the adventure, he didnt have a clue there was one coming in the gsa! either it was a well kept secret or he was hired on the day to hand out test ride slips and smile. anyway ive liked the gsa for a while but this colour may clinch the deal.

Given the 'Black' theme, why do they still have the plastic under the rear seat and rack in silver? It would look much better in noir!

Definately think they've missed a trick with this. It doesn't look special AT ALL imo. The Triple black GS looks great, different and special. The GSA version looks anything but. There's no embossed seat for a start, and they've left the seat 2 tone. So basically they've cut corners by keeping the standard seat. From that picture I can't see clearly the black engine, but the cylinder heads are still silver. And they've left the side panels silver.

Basically it just looks like someone's got a Smoke Grey one and done an aftermarket respray on the beak, tank and forks. Why have BMW cut corners with this and put out such a poor effort? All the Special editions up to now have been great, and special. Such a shame, it could've, and probably should've been amazing Maybe it'll look much better in the flesh : Still think the lack of embossed seat is cutting corners though

Yep, if only I'd not have been so eager to get mine, or was psychic I could have had one of the lovely 30th edition rather than my smoke grey That's not to say I don't like my smoke grey of course

Nooo the Smoke Grey is really a crappy colour..... YELLOW is the best!

If you ask nicely - I'll swap you my yellow panels for the Smoke Grey....
