800gs being swapped [plus a wedge of cash] for a Triple Black. My final coming of age before I am too old.:D:D:D

And it is going to rain:mad:

it won't rain ! - i'm on a lean roll course Sunday.
Give us a shout if you want a ride out sometime as i'm down the road from you.

You've only got light rain forecast in your area so it won't be a problem. Get out and enjoy :thumb2 In my neck of the woods it's heavy rain for the next 3 days :(
The triple black looks really nice. I really like the embossed seats on the special edition GS/GSA's.

Triple black is now at home.....

The rain stayed away for 150 miles but now I have to wash it:D

Such a different ride to the 800gs - the most dramatic being moving off in first - more revs required. I will now fit the cylindewr head protectors just in case an awkard stall occurs.

I'll post some piccies later.:thumb:JB

Let the bling begin! :augie

:thumb2

Already started as I purchased the large BMW tank bag [at a discount I must say]. :D

Nothing wrong with a bit of bling :D ...especially things like tank bags, cos they're more useful than bling.

....those triple blacks do look good, hope you enjoy it :thumb2

Aldermaston

watch out for steep cambers when you pull up at traffic lights / kerbs etc - its a tad heavier than your old machine

Very small world - near salisbury. I kept going up to Andover, Hungerford, Wantage, Goring and home.

I'll post some piccies later.:thumb:JB

Two piccies one of the bike and one of the bike in its new home - although built for two horses it now houses 110 horses:D There does not seem to be room for my serow - when found.:blast

My step father has a TRIPLE BLACK and is very pleased with it, he traded an 06 1200GS for an 800S/T recently and realised his mistake before he'd had the 1st service done, he traded it for a low suspension TRIPLE BLACK within weeks and has just returned from a 3000 mile Euro tour a very happy man :D
He asked me to produce a sticker for his bike, as he has volunteered to be the "Guinea Pig" for this product I thought I would show the result;

The R1200 section is made from Black over Silver reflective vinyl and the TRIPLE BLACK wording is made from Silver reflective vinyl, both parts are on 1 piece of transport tape and are pre-spaced and aligned so application is straightforward and easy, these will be available on my website soon.

Hi Johnboy

Hope you are enjoying your new Triple Black.

I have got a couple of questions if you don't mind answering them for me, as I am thinking about this move with my f800gs to the Triple Black.

1. Why did you want to move from the 800 to the 12?
2. How much of a trade did you for the 800?
3. Is the ride different or better?

Thanks for your time.

Cheers

Titch
