Went down to my BMW dealers this morning (Riders) and took out a demonstrator for a couple of hours, mega impressed!
So much so that we cut a deal and should be collecting a week Saturady, comes with the 2 packs!

Hi great news about your new purchase - i had mine 2 months ago after my 2005 and its a great bike , looks ace. Before you ride too much i would concider having the bodywork and forks Venture Shielded to stop marks as the black will show them up , i have this done to mine and its good ( that is if you like your bikes to remain mint - some arnt botherd) I had mine done by a company in Birmingham ' Covertech' and they are a good bunch.
Wish i has done it to my Superduke R as it now looks battered as group riding can throw up lots of road sharps etc.

Cracking looking bike IMO. I don't think the triple black GSA looks great IMO, certainly doesn't look as special as the GS. In fact I prefer the smoke grey GSA to the TB one, but then I would say that as I'm biased. I still think the best colour scheme for the GSA is the original Alpine White from 2006.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the GS. The triple black is certainly the best looking GS IMO

Hi folks, i`ve been on a test ride on 1200gs today over at Clarks B`ham,thinking of moving from a f650gs to the 1200gs.To say the least i was very impressed by its allround performance Sitting there in the showroom was the triple black 1200gs what a bute a real head turning bike.I think sit down do the maths and b*****k`s have one.

Gettin mine this Saturday. Went for the Blue one that was probably still in the showroom when you went to Clarkes for yer test ride.Yeah the TB looks good, & I did seriously consider it. I too, took a test ride, & loved the twin cam engine. Go for it mate, lifes to short

I agree as well, the 06-07 GSA alpine white looks much better than the new white/sand. Must be the German taste...

Thanks mate, they ride out of ditches well I can vouch for that.

Its changed a bit since this shot, I used touratech fork stickers to protect the black finish.
