Horrible, I just don't get this attraction to black everything. Black wheels always look shit on anything.
Cars that have black wheels especially white cars, well, from a bystanders point of view they might just as well be cheap black steel wheels that have lost their wheel trims.

Still, beauty is in the eye of the beholder as they say.

I love my triple black but that is full on. I would ask what colour the rider is bit that would sound racist so I've going to ask if their visor is tinted

Can't agree that black wheels look bad. GSA ones with stainless steel spokes always look classy imho and that's how they come from the factory!

Matt finishes are very fashionable at the moment, trouble is they're not particularly resilient but are almost impossible to rejuvenate. The beauty in a gloss finish is it can be re-polished if damaged. The same cannot be said for a Matt finish.

I've got to be honest, I don't know what all the fuss is about, what's wrong with a bit of gloss?
