FOR SALE is my August 98 Triumph Daytona T595

I bought this last August from a deceased's estate and it has sat in my lockup ever since under a BIG pile of cardboard boxes

It's been off the road for around 14 years and has 35500 miles on the clock

It's had a new battery and fuel pump in the last week as both were knackered it having stood unused for so long. The bike now starts on the button and gets up to temperature within a few minutes before the fan cuts in. Prior to being stood down the previous owner had fitted new chain & sprockets. I've also fitted a pair of replica Triumph rear indicators as the original LHS one was broken putting the bike into my van :censored:

The bike is very original and has not been fucked about with :thumb

Now the downsides:

The bike has no MOT and will require the fork seals being replaced before the test is carried out

I would advise that the tyres are replaced due to their age although non replacement should not prevent the bike passing a test

I would advise that the oil & filter is replaced along with the brake fluid again due to age etc

There are a few marks commensurate with use such as zip marks on then fuel tank (the tank has no ethanol bubbling which is something that is quite common on bikes of this age with plastic tanks) The lower fairing panels and underside of the exhaust have signs of grounding out, a common issue on the T595 which was addressed on the very similar looking Daytona 955i

There are also some some streak marks on the screen which I assume has been caused by cleaning fluid?

Remember this is a 27 year old bike that you could buy, ride and not lose any money on

On the subject of money. I would like £1200 for it. The price is firm and if it doesn't sell here it's off to eBay in a couple of weeks

Any questions just ask :clap

The bike is garaged near Marlborough, Wiltshire SN8 which is M4 junctions 14 or 15

Paul, these are cracking bikes in my mind. I’ve a real soft spot for the T595 , loads of bike for very little money. Best of luck with the sale chum

Always tempting the bikes you sell mate.

Looks like previous owner knew how to ride, judging by back hoop.

Lovely bike, I miss mine , good luck with your sale

I'd be up for that if it were a Speedy instead. Can't be doing with clip-ons.
The Speed Triple top clamp/handlebars fit straight on but you would have to drill/tap the lockstops & fit a couple of small cap head bolts to limit the amount of lock on the bars as your hands will end up catching the upper fairing

I had an LSL top clamp & bars fitted to a 99my 955i some years back and that worked really well :thumb

OK here we go again

This bike is still available only now it has a new MOT as of yesterday 16th December with the following advisories:

Monitor and repair if necessary (advisories):
  • Front Tyre worn close to the legal limit (5.2.3 (e))
  • Rear Tyre worn close to the legal limit (5.2.3 (e))
  • Nearside Front Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b))
  • Offside Front Shock absorber has a light misting of oil (5.3.2 (b))
So there we have it ... A 3 owner T595 Daytona with 12 months MOT for £1200

I may consider a part exchange (money my way please) :D
