I haven’t done anything , got it from Triumph like this and told if you want to put it back to standard that’s the parts .
If interested we can get in touch with Triumph Oxford for more information.

I would prefer a lowered bike however there is a correct way to lower and not just fit rear shock dog bones, so I would be interested to know if the forks have had springs, i can see the forks are not dropped through the yokes so would suggest fork springs if its done correctly, but clarification would be helpful.

Also can i ask being a gen 1 bike, early Explorers had head issues in a certain VIN range, has it had a new head under warranty/goodwill.

If you prefer to pm feel free and we can take it from there.

Thanks

I believe it was the 2012 model that had the issues the 2015 was sorted .
Gen1 TEX model years affected: 2012, 2013 and early 2014.
I can’t see anything about new springs being fitted in the documentation , maybe is just the dog legs .
It definitely helps me at 5ft 10in.

It does not look like it has been lowered using springs- I would have expected the front fork shrouds to be much higher on the fork leg

I had Gen1,2 and 3 Explorers. All lowered using Lust dog bones, front suspension was never touched. All bikes handled fine and I never had a problem with geometry on any of them . That looks like a lot of bike for the money.

I lowered my 1050 with dog bones and lowered the front through the triple clamps. Worked out well for me. In fact I felt it handled better.
