For Sale Triumph Trophy se 2015

How big is it compared to the r1200rt?
Looking for something smaller in fact but will be doing some motorways miles weekly all year round.

I think you'll struggle to beat this for motorway mile muncher without spending significantly more. I rode mine in winter weather still using summer gloves as the weather protection combined with the heated grips/seat was all I needed. Effortless with a turbine like powertrain.

It's a very similar size to the RT. 👍

I would say the Trophy is slightly taller and feels a little heavier than the RT *

I currently own a water cooled RT and this particular Trophy was once my bike :thumby:

* I'm happy to be corrected if either of my personal feelings on weight/height are proven to be wrong :D

It's a fair bit heavier than an equivalent RT. Around 300kg if I recall. More so with luggage. The triumph triple is quite heavy and sits up high. I would say not a bike for a weakling, however once used to it and especially when on the move I never noticed it.

It rode very well. Even at a spirited pace.

Ok, thanks for the info. I will be using it 50/50: motorway and London crowded streets. I think I will follow my initial plan of getting something lighter. However, it seems it's a great choice for long journeys. GLWTS!! It's a bargain.

These are excellent bikes with strong engine, great WP suspension and smooth gearbox. I’d say somewhere between an RT1250 - K1600 in terms of performance and practicality. The Professor’s bike represents a huge amount of capability for the price.

MONDAY BARGAIN ….£1700

Will be dropping this elsewhere tonight chaps! It really is a lot of bike inc heated seat shaft drive uber weather protection the list goes on….cheers
