Need to purchase one of these to move the beast in the garage.
But which one? Anyone got one for sale? (cumbria area).
cheers jim.:thumb2

I think I'll have one of those, damn fine idea for moving bike about garage.Usually back & forwards,so on & so on.Problem sorted cheers m8:beerjug:

I've got one and it's not as easy as the video implies. With the GS on the centre stand all the weight is on the front wheel and you can't move the bike without pushing down on the back to take the weight off the front.

Yes you can move it but ideally it needs one person to push on the back and another to move the bike.

I use this...

Dead useful for putting the bike into any space, working on etc.

Correct ...... but an old backpack with a bag of builder's sand hangs by the door. Lay it on the back of the bike to shift the centre of gravity

With backpack over one shoulder the extra weight also makes it easier to lever the bike onto the centrestand which is now an inch or so off the ground

richtel, please tell me thats not how clean your bike is & its a pic of a new bike in an ad???
makes me look like a lazy bas*ard:D

Um... yes, it was from an advert. Any similarity to my bike is purely coincidental. And I don't get to ride enough.

Ive never had a problem moving the bike when its on the trolly. You develop the technique very quickly :rob.

Here you go....€99 euro. http://www.becker-technik.de/ I use one, a fantasstic piece of kit. But the floor of your garage must be mirror flat for the wheels to work properly.

I have a similar device and the floor does not have to be mirror flat. Neither is two persons needed to move the bike. You however have to be careful when moving the bike and when taking it off the centre stand (I once managed to drop the bike )

I use a 'tail swinger' (Busters, M&P and Ebay) for my GSA and XV1700. Works a treat and my garage floor is very ridged from cheapo concrete laying. Be careful with weight capacity on the cheaper ones.
