Looking for a decent set of Enduro type trousers that won't break the bank. Been looking at the Alpinestars Erzberg jobbies at a about a ton. Any good? Do they do long leg lengths as I've a 34" inside leg and they'll be going over a pair of Hoggs.

I've a pair of Kevlar lined jeans jobbies too but anybody tried cargo type pants or any other suggestions as to comfy troos with at least a degree of protection?

Assuming that you don't want waterproof, then these..... http://www.britishmotorcyclegear.com/mens-adventure-pants.asp

Yes, they are based in San Diego, yes they ship to the UK, yes they do great customer service, yes I do know the owner of the company, yes I did have some involvement in the design and production of these and yes, I do have a pair. What better recommendation do you need.....:thumb

I'm disturbed by your repeated use of the word "jobbies". Seems to indicate a fixation. :D

BMW Summer 3 ... I love the fact the protection ( Hip/Knee) is in exactly the right place. These trousers look good and have lasted well.

Cheers all.

Going the Klim route for distance work (35" legs ideal with my Altbergs) with a pair of armoured cargo pants, to go alongside my jeans for bimbling about.

Thought about a new 'bonded' Goretex jacket too but sticking with my perfectly serviceable mid range Rukka till it gives up the ghost.

Unfortunately the Summer 3 is a serious downgrade from the Summer 2 when it comes to protection :-(

Otherwise good trousers.
