Troppo goes to Cooktown

Hello all

Many years ago, a RN Lieutenant ran his boat on a reef off the coast of Australia.

He was, of course, James Cook. Last weekend, myself and a couple of mates rode up to Cooktown from Cairns - the place where James repaired his ship ENDEAVOUR.

There are a couple of ways to go -

We went the inland way.

So why didn't you take your GS-LC which to me would seem the be a 'cooler' choice for that heat?

I wanted to give the big girl a run - her first overnighter.

Excellent, although I have since put the stock windscreen back on....the "comfort" screen is too bloody hot!
