Trouble re-fitting seat - help req. please!!

I have a Touratech grey two tone one-piece seat as well as the standard bmw seat for my 2006 1200 GS.

Trouble is, i just cant get the bugger to click into position.

It came with the bmw standard seat in place. After about 5 mins i got the TT seat to click into place but had to take it off to take off side panals i didn't want and now cant get it to re-fit into place. Get it on, but cant get it to click which is most annoying as the TT seat i find is comfier by far and also looks a hell of a lot better than the standard seat ive been forced to fit meantime.

Has anybody got the same seat?

Do you find it a pig to fit?

How do you make it easier?

Seemed to have sussed it. Put it on, sit on bike, play at horsies and bang it around a bit and 'click'.

I assume you played by the cowboy rules and held onto the bars with one hand whilst waving the other arm aloft and spinning it around, all the time "yahoo-ing" at the top of your voice?
