I'm trying to load a picture onto my webspace. Trouble is it only seems to load 3/4 of the pic.

Am I doing something wrong? Is the pic too big? It's 863 x 607 and 121916 bytes in size, saved as a jpeg.

Here's what I get (I've reduced the size);

it looks truncated.

If you ftp to the dir you're putting it into, and run ls -l it is it the same size as it is on your computer? Looks like it's missing the last 20k or so.

or, browse the dir it's in i.e. ~/images/ (where ~ is the root of your website without any specific html file in the url, see what the listing says for size. (assuming you've put all your pics in one dir).

NATS moving you all to the seaside then?

And in English? :D

Yep - loverly paid move down the coast for Oct 07. Wanna ask people on the board in the relocation area where to live/where NOT to live :mmmm

So I can start thinking/planning

I've fudge it by opening windows explorer and typing in the ftp address. Then copied the file form the pc directly into the directory, overwriting the half loaded up piccy :thumb

Depends on your budget.

Country houses in the Meon Valley area can be quite expensive.

Or you can try Whiteley near Fareham. Large modern development what somehow seems chav-laden, especially the expensive houses near the golf course where loads of footballers live.

Are schools important? Like most places, houses in the catchment areas of the best schools cost 15% or so more than they might otherwise. And because of the over-development of the area, some schools are seriously over-subscribed, so kids are having to be shunted some way to the less-favoured schools (you know, the rough comps that serve the sink estates).
