Truncating my route???

How do folks, I`m currantly trying to download a 582 mile route from mapsource to my 2610 but when it`s downloaded it it says "route truncated" is there any reason it`s not putting the full length route in?
Also if it is too long to put in it as a single route how do I remove the end bit to download as a seperate route?

Any help much appreciated as always

I think the problem is caused by having too many waypoints in the route. This may be due to ones you've added or the PONI's that mapsource uses. Easiest way, make it into two routes.

I know it sound daft - but I've done it

Make sure your maps loaded are in the unit

also Has someone sent you the route - is it a later version
Done both of these

also this spring set off on a week thrash around bel and germany with all my waypoints and maps for trailing around britain - really handy that was !!!

Thanks lads I just re done the end of the route so it`s in 2 parts
