Trying to determine the knocking sound on R 1150 (which i haven't seen yet)

Alright so maybe this sounds a little weird, but i bought a R 1150 GS which is currently at my friends house in another country, im going to pick up the motorcycle in a few weeks. Now in the video i attach you can hear the bike has a bit of knocking or clanking sound, I've searched my arse off for other GS's and it seems to be quite common listening with these engines, but there's also these out there that run smooth as butter. My goal is to make it run like that, just like i had done with my R 1100 GS.

Now i was wondering if anyone could determine what the sound could be based on this video. Could be the valves, timing chain tensioner, clutch or maybe the pushrods, any opinion is welcome!

Yeah the R 1100 which i had it was the clutch, i believe that's not really a problem. Tommorow im going to video call my buddy to see whats up with the sound, but i am being nitpicky haha

difficult to tell on that vid tbh, could be valve train lash, could be cam-chain tensioner, could be knackered plugs causing a poor burn... the only way to find out is to see it in person and check it over properly. (to my mind).

Does the noise go away when the clutch is pulled in ? ….
