I nearly took it back to my hotel room.

Thanks for a great evening, was starting to panic as I was first there and I was thinking I might be expected to eat all that food, great spread.

Got back home, 8.45pm last night, did a GSer thing and rode non stop LIVERPOOL-ANDOVER oh so hard.

Just booking up for THE MANX GP end of August, fly in and bus around now I have the timetable worked out.

Cheers again, from all of us.

Just got home safely as well. :)

Thanks for a great evening. Lots of interesting characters to chat to and good food. Brilliant hospitality.

Got ferry into Heysham at lunchtime then 340 miles in 4 1/2 hours.

Already planning to do the TT again next year.

Myself and Mrs Baps also made it home......just. After walking the wrong way out of your estate we made the bus only by running and shouting loudly enough so the driver waited for us. It was very irresponsible of you to let us drink so much when we were in a strange town!:D

Thanks for everything. See you soon:thumb

Unfortunately we had to leave on Friday morning.....will plan better next time :augie

Got back to Dk yesterday afternoon....

Brilliant week and thanks Moo; Wednesday evening was fun.

Bike still in one piece so now I shall spend the summer building a workshop oso I can spend the winter stripping the bike and rebuilding in time for next year.

Never mind me dear! It was raining on and off til later on in the evening so I don't blame you ... try again next year (same day ...the Weds of Race Week). We'll be there :D

I don't know how to put up the photos - is there someone I can email a few to - who can fiddle with them and make them smaller? Then we can put some piccies up.

As I say - it was a hoot! I enjoyed every minute of it - and want to thank all those who contributed food, drink and themselves to the event. Over 50 came in the end - so no wonder Dermot (the cook) looked a bit harrassed!).:)

Til next time and with many thanks!

I haven't got a bloody clue how to convert the pictures into smaller ones ... if I can email them to someone who does ..then we are SORTED!!

:D

ooohhh and DeeTee .... which bike will ya be riding? My mate Si took an inordinate amount of pictures of it. he was rather keen! Cute one of Rob on it too :D He's a KTM boy tho'! Went for a ride to Ramsey with Robert on his - he was rather chuffed!

You'll be wanting to download Irfanview (See Here). Really easy to use & will reduce the file size of an image.

Alternatively, arrange to upload your pictures to a hosting site like Smugmug or even your own ISP may offer this service, as BT do. You would then link to the hosted image when replying to the thread. I'm sure there are clearer instructions in the FAQ's :o
