TT handlebar kit for 1150 ?

Hi,

Has anyone tried the TT handlebar kit for 1150? Part No. 041-0906

Looks like an easy (not cheap) way to put good bars on and solve the heated grips / diameter problems.

There is an adaptor for the handguards too.
Mounting kit Hand Protectors, SPLIT clamps
Part Number: 040-0534

Any advice welcome.

I have got the kit on my 1100, like it way better than the original bars.
Had a similar setup on my Speed Triple and prefered the with and angle on those bars.
I will propably raise them 1" or so, as they are slightly lower in the TT setup than the standard bars

I have asked TT is they will supply the flat bar with 60mm risers - waiting for reply at present.

Hello Bin!

Keep me updated on that one, as I am looking at getting the 60 mm risers from them as well (just slow, plain slow)

I guess the only negative aspect is the holes where the wire from the handlebar heaters exit the bars.
On the OEM there are 2 holes, on the Maguras only one centered hole.
Overall a good modification, straighter, wider and looks better. It also relieves your wrists, as The OEM bars tended to twist my wrists inwards.

Ordered the bars with 60mm risers yesterday by phone, dhl to here Riyadh, will fit them when in Dublin iin July.
Will post some info, if all goes ok, and if I don't forget...
