Being 6'4" and having my GSA seat set in the high position I inevitably suffer from wind noise and buffeting. I've been using the Wunderlich screen extension/spoiler for the past 12-14 months and found it dramatically reduced noise, and improved buffeting. However, I was bought the Touratech one for my birthday last week so given that a try. The TT one improves buffeting over the Wunderlich one, but at the sacrifice of wind noise, albeit the higher pitched noise rather than the booming noise. So when choosing it's donw to preference as to which you want to eliminate most, buffeting or noise. I've not made my mind up yet, I'm going to try the TT one for a bit longer.
Both are much better than standard, and also it's worth noting that if I swap my seat to the low setting noise and buffeting and lowered further still to almost negligible. Unfortunately my legs are too cramped on the low seat setting.

Which one did you finall go with !

I'm 6'. 4" got the Wunderlich screen extension fited. On lowest setting. Absolutely spot on. no wind noise or buffeting. Only you need to stick your head out to the side to clear the rain water of your visor. Definately recommend.

Bizarre, tried it on many many settings (ie height and angle) and never found a setting that eliminated all noise and buffeting. What seat height have you got it on?

My seat is on the high setting & the screen is also set at the highest setting. Absolutely no problem. No buffeting at all. In wet conditions I have to put my head out to the side of the screen to blow the water off. Only set back is. I can't get used to looking through plastic when cornering. On the plus side I can hear the intercom now. But I'm going a bit deaf anyway.

Have you got the GS or GSA as I still look well over the screen extender and never look though it, even going uphill (I have the GSA). When I've tried the seat on the low setting the screen extender occasionally gets in my view if going up very steep hills, otherwise I still look over the top of it. I have to say though that it's really quiet when the seat's on the low setting, perfect in fact, but my legs are too cramped.

Got the GSA. No two people are the same I suppose ? Oh to be a short arse eh ? Might invest in the foot peg lowering kit next ? All the best.
