Anyone else noticed the recent price hike on the above items?

I was just about to order some and the online price is 29% higher than the Jan 08 catalogue price!

Now over £700 for a standard set with frames....

I have a pair that will be for sale soon, they're definately not mint:augie but with frames for an 1150/1100.

I've a 1200 so if i can find a cheap frame I may get back to you about those.

I take on board the pound/euro rate change but it does little to soften the hit we'll all be taking on everything we buy that is made in Europe. TT tell me that one of their competitors has increased their prices by 50%. I'll be taking a serious look at the alternatives available through this site...

Hi Craig

I've just become the importer for Holan who make racks and frames for, amongst others, zega/TT panniers. You can see pics here: www.holan.pl They are quite reasonably priced, and mine have stood up to 20,000 miles of abuse on my HP2.

In terms of cases, you could also consider Ard cases who's been getting some pretty good write ups of late - take a look in the vendors section

If you're interested, just let me know :thumb2

'Stahlkoffer' panniers?

Im waiting on mine - should be here today or tommorow.

2mm thick, fully powder coated, lids that come off completely (Handy) and look very good especially for the £400 for two panniers, frames and locks. Warrantied for a year.

Bernie, the owner, is very good to deal with too.

I'll let you know what i think for real very shortly - i have high hopes.

Looking forward to seeing the pix of them.....

I'd be interested to see the mounting of them... it looks like they use the OEM pannier mounting points which doen't strike me as being a strong solution. ( i've been wrong many times before...)

I've just emailed him about the total weight.

Interested to see what these look like too and also what you think of them once they arrive. Ordered through someone on this forum or via a web site?

Through the website, speaking with him and several emails.

Just search for 'stahlkoffer' and you'll find lots of info.

Cheers. I've checked the website and pm'd Bernie for more details. They look great.
