Tumbleweed

What we need is a Tumbleweed emoticon or smilie just for the Yorkshire and Humberside Section :augie

I would love to contribute but I'm stuck in the falkland islands until April. Annoyingly watching people organising trips to the lakes etc :(:(:(

This would be a cracking place to bring your GS if it wasn't so bloody far away

Hiya Delpel, what you up to out there?

I am currently down here on a 4 month holiday with the Royal Air Farce.

Not sure if I can tell you my job as it might have an impact on national security. Ah bolloxs what the heck :augie I'm looking after the remote radar picture which is watching the sky for Argentine interlopers. My main issue is with the operators cause they keep breaking the kit. Keeps me busy though.

Would you believ my last day in uniform is down here and then it's Mr Perry all the way, can't wait might grow my hair long and do some wacky backy ;). 22 years as a Comms techie and now looking for a job as a Electrical/Electronic service/maintenance engineer, also done a Plumbing and Solar heating course if you know of any jobs going.

spent my 6 months out there tree hunting:D and installing the ice alert on the runway, and geting americans out of minefields after following rockhoppers in:augie

spent my six months down there ferrying booties to South Georgia. Upside of the trip was Barbados and the Virgin Isles on the way back home.

edit... dont know why, but smilies wont work for me, even though the disable smilies in text box isnt ticked!!
