Why isn't there a carburettor option?

Just sorting the conversion now,speaking to a couple of ignition system manufacturers,not too sure about using Bings,though.....
I reckon a sorted carb set-up certainly can't be any worse than a compromised injection set-up,plus the ease of re-jetting around further engine mods....it's gotta be looked at.

I went for the Bings in the end, I had a pair on the shelf, they fit with little modification and HPN et al use them successfully on their Dakar conversions.
Agreed, the Dell Ortos could be a bit more efficient, but calculate the BMEP for the engine........decidly average.
