Twice as Good, no Four times ??

Whilst my 1150GS Adventure SE was being serviced my dealer kindly let me test ride the latest water cooled 1200 Adventure

Wow very impressive, faultless.

On return I was offered approx 4k for my 1150Gsa against a full house WCGSA at near 16k.

Can the latest incarnation really be 4 times better

Or be £12000 better than the 1150...depends if you've got the spare wonga perhaps

No it's not , but I bet your SE is worth more privately and there are a few low mileage WC GSA's out there at £14000 so maybe only 2.5 times more expensive . The XE which I have was that new and I feel a step up from the 1150 and 1200TC . They are all really good bikes . My 1150 SE I had in 2005 was the best looking GS I have owned .The 1200WC GSA the best I have ridden (personal view Mr Boxer ) If you love it get it if not enjoy your lovely SE
