Twin turbo R1200GS

I've seen a few 'turbo' 1150GS's, one did a 2500 mile trip around Europe with us once

No problems...........................however on a good straight road, it was scarily fast:eek:

'The gains are translated when you travel through Chile with 170 bhp instead of the 50 you would have with the naturally aspirated bike.'

Final drive issues anyone!

Turbos can make an engine more fuel efficient and there is power at altitude (with more turbo lag) but usually just make more power

One of these has best part of 50% more power from only 800cc and excellent fuel consumption, who actually needs a blower?

Nitrous makes a lot more sense, turn it on when you want it :thumb

Without traction mine will spin up the rear wheel in a corner so really what's the point?

Of course its blingy and interesting but I would rather spend the cash on a sports bike and keep the GS standard(ish).

Saying that it does show how over engineered the boxer 1200 engine really is. FD, gearbox and clutch excepted of course
