Twitter

Facebook but rarely log in, used it to find 2 mates who emigrated to Aussie/NZ area, so it has its uses. :D

facebook, find it good for posting ride photos, and the phone app is handy

I can see the point in Facebook but I dont get Twitter. Unless your some celeb nobody really cares or do they.:nenau

I'm on Facebook too, as is the garage now. I signed up to Twitter, but lost interest very quickly. I think Twitter is only useful/interesting if you're constantly on it.

twitter is useful for news feeds from organisations/businesses that you are interested in. early news of gig tickets for instance.

I am also on facebook and twitter. I use facebook a lot but rarely look at twitter.

Twitter - thumbs up.

We've been using it at work to post up what's going on to a private user id for the company. It usually has fleeting field reports while we are onsite of the mostly useless (dinner/tea postings) variety, but helps stay in touch when you are out and about.

There's an iMac in the kitchen running TweetDeck that shows the posts, and has additional columns for things like company mentions in the press, competitor mentions, partner mentions, etc.

The Twitter website is a bit limited, but get a good API client like TweetDeck and it becomes a lot more useful. You can add in Facebook streams as well, but you need to try and filter out shite like Farmville/Hearts updates to keep it clean.
