Didn’t realise it til the other day but it seems I have a soft spot for bags. I buy them, then put them away in my bag collection, without ever using them.
Time to clear a few out.
These are two I bought from here, quite recently.
1. Tilley Endurables Globetrotter collection.
Roughly 12 x 11 inches.
Extemely tough, well made bag, designed for world travel. Multiple pockets and compartments. No longer available now, but were originally made and sold in Canada for around $200.
A few light marks but nothing major, just from general use.
Travel Writer review sales blurb…
This day bag by Tilley Endurables is the perfect city carry-all, yet tough enough for adventure. I prefer the ease of access of this padded, rainproof shoulder bag to that of a backpack. Not to mention the handiness of eleven pockets, inside key-clip, conveniently located pen pockets, Velcro-closed side pockets perfect for a water bottle and cell phone, and waterproof interior pockets that’ll keep important documents dry even in a downpour. It’s spacious enough to carry a bulky zoom lens and conceal an expensive SLR while you dine or in a pub, where you’d rather not rest it on the tabletop or sling it over a chair back, while its school-bag look doesn’t scream camera bag to thieves.
£55 posted.
2.Black Ember Kompak cross body bag.
Bought this from the chap who used to buy high end items, then sell them on here. He didn’t use it and neither have I, hence it’s as brand new.
Lots of thought and tech have gone into this bag, it’s 100% waterproof too. Even the zips have seals like Rukka or Klim kit.
Magnetic fastenings too. The strap is designed so it hugs your body while you’re wearing nit.
Comes with optional extra magnetic key clasp (£35!)
Total cost new is £173 posted.
I want £95 posted. And remember it’s as new.
