Two fingers on cluch lever

I prefer to have only two fingers on the clutch lever, but then of course the lever can't go all the way inn when changing gears because of the other fingers getting pinched between lever and the grip. Does it put stress/wear on the clutch if the lever isn't pulled all the way inn? Or doesn't it matter how far the lever is pulled inn as long the clutch has been relived from the engine/drive train?

If you feel you want to pull the lever all the way, but with only two fingers, you can get shorter levers. On my K1200R I had Pazzo shorties, and the feel they provide is great - annoyed I sold them onwards now as they would have been nice on the FGS.

The only way to be certain that you are not 'dragging' the clutch (even slightly) is to always pull the lever fully in.

I don't bother with a clutch after third gear, so it doesn't matter.
Going back down the box I seldom bother from 6 to 4, after that I tend to use it.
