Two sets of wheels on GSA LC both paired TPMS ?

Just wondering if anyone knows for sure if a GSA can hold two sets of TPMS values for two sets of wheels?

I had my original wheels taken off a while ago and replaced with a different set that were paired at the dealers, now about to refit my original set complete with new CTA3 tyres:D. Will it remember these and pair to maintain TPMS, anyone done this ?
 
On my 2017 R1200GSA I have to reprogram the TPMS each time I swap the wheels over.

If theres a way to store two sets at once, I'd be interested also.
 
I thought I saw on the GS-911 menu that it could store two sets? Might have been mistaken tho (don’t tell the wife )

Hi Frank,

I had the same queries and came to the conclusion that it might be possible with the GS911 but limited to 1 set only if you use the MotoScan app and OBDLink.
Like Warlord said, with the MotoScan/OBDLink combo, you need to reprogram each set when you change wheels. It only takes about 3 minutes so no issue considering the cost of the GS911 or BMW's charges to do it.

Bikes till about 2016 was possible, then BMW change for some reason only 1 set now, but not hard job to do.
 
Thanks for the help/answers so far, I will swap the wheels sometime this week and see what happens, mine is a Oct 2017 bike. When I put the spare set on prior to getting them coded I got no warning messages on the tft the only way I could tell was not paired was going to display the pressures and then seeing not available, so at least no annoying flashing warnings. Will let you know if the originals are still paired.

Look post 6 and 11 below, very interesting and important 10 miles one wheel only, so 1 original and 1 new wheel, then same again is procedure.

I have a 2015 with two sets of wheels, when I change the wheels I have to plug in the 911 and swap the numbers over manually every time. I have the codes stored on my phone so I just type them in manually. I believe the pre LCs could store two sets of codes but i can't find anyway of storing two sets in my LC.
Useless piece of information, but you can go to the local kwik fit and ask them to read the codes off the wheel, just ask them to set their reader to vauxhall astra 2008 or 2010 and it should find them.

Stage 1 complete:okay. Just put the original rear wheel in, went for a ride, about 300 metres front registers pressure, nowt from the rear:eek: however:green gri somewhere between 3 and 4 miles in up pops the pressure for the rear:thumb. So looks like this process works to me, no gs911 no TPMS wake up tool. Later today will fit the original front and see if the process works the same and if so all done.

As my plans have changed I may be selling the set I am just taking off which are excellent condition, complete with bmw original discs and Dunlop tyres with less than 1000 miles on them, so watch out in the for sale at some point.

Yes :beerjug: for that, very useful and saved a trip to the dealer. Front wheel on and all fully paired up, job done:okay
