hi all
i have had a look on here and cant find any thing on the Continental Conti Trail Attack tyers
i am thinking of getting a set for my r100gs and would like to now if they are any good or not as i dont take my bike off road
plus they seem cheaper than the metzeler tounrance tyres that are on the bike now sorry for the spelling

My experience is that the Tourances are fine , and last ages.... Trail attacks are also very good, but don't last quite as long....

It'd do you no harm to try a pair .... it will be down to personal preference... mine was on an 1150 BTW :thumb

the tourance are quit a bit more money so i think i will go for the trail attack and c how they go

Just to put my 2p in.. I tried out some Metzler Karoo T's on my Cagiva (I believe the tyre sizes were the same as the later airheads) they were a little cheaper than the conti's (and far cheaper than the tourances) and they worked really well both on and off road.. I had doen about 4k on them when I sold the bike (and at that point the front was about 70% left and the back about 50%).. Might be worth a look if you need a 50/50 type tyre.

Otherwise Tourances.. I found these lasted much longer than the conti's (on my 1150).

just got a conti trail attacks front ordered at £56 p and p so it be getting to mine at the wk end i hope

Hi, interested in your £56 inc delivery. What speed rating are these and are they tubeless? That seems like a really good price and by the way a friend is running these on an f800gs and he is impressed with their performance. I have tourances on my 100gs and i have found the extent of the grip the front tyre offers. Regards, Stash.

they are speed rated H up to 130 mph and they are tube less. i have tourances on the bike just now but they cost a lot more.

Which supplier have you used and what price for the 130/80-17 rear. I could be heading that way myself as i do not really ever go off road, well not on this bike anyway. Stash.
