I've just built a route on Mapsource which I think looks OK. I only got my Zumo 550 last week so I'm still a bit of a novice. I've planned it to go past Jordan's if you still fancy it. If you have a Zumo the route details are attached, (hopefully). You may think it's pants but I wanted to try to avoid motorways as much as possible. I've never been to Seaways but I'm told there are some nice roads between Squires and Seaways which is why we're going past there.
I was thinking of setting off around 10-10.15 but I'm not too sure whether that's too early or too late.
I'll PM you with my number and proposed route in case you want to get hold of me between now and Sunday.

I'm not suggesting that anyone on here would ride recklessly or go over the speed limit but just a quick heads up: there unmarked cars and bikes and also a police helicoptor patroling the roads around here.

well, I got there at about 12 and so had every other biker for miles around. I have never seen it so busy. I waited for an hour or so but no-one brought me a piece of cake and I didn't fancy walking around the carpark shouting "any tossers here?" so I pootled off to Helmsley with a few mates.

well I got there at 11:00 stopped until 12:00 think I was only one around with a GS I got surrounded by the harley owners club think they parked next to my bike cause its covered in Mud made there bikes look even more clean or my one even more dirty
then had a ride over to sherburn great day out riding always good fun to watch them leave the milk bar and wheelie up the road

Sorry to have missed the rest of you, I did make a point of trying to introduce myself to anyone on a GS (whether they wanted to meet me or not)
