Can any of you fine people recomend a good place to get a new tyre fitted on tyneside, I can do the wheel off but taking tyres off is a bit of a lark for me. TIA

Plenty of places on the 'Hill' will supply & fit tyres for you. I've also used Cestria in Chester-le-Street before & they did a good job. Not especially cheap but it was a ride in ride out job, think I paid about £180 for a pair of Michelin T66 fitted. (Crap tyres but the service was good & they couldn't get Tourance at the time)

Both M&S & Hunters Westgate Road are competitive on price..
M&S usually carry stock.. Hunters will generally need to order in.
