For those that don't hang the wheels up over winter and continue to commute what is the recommended type of tire for winter, based in Ireland so mostly frosty , rain , and getting caught out in the occasional snow shower and have about 30km of back road untreated then down to single lane stuff .
If there is too much snow or ice in the morning just work from home, but have been caught out on working late and finding roads bleedin lethal late at night.
Something like the anankee 3 which nods to off-road and seem to heat up quickly (currently on bike but need changing)
Pure on-road
Something more off road orientated and potentially higher silica content?
Just go slower the type of black hoop makes toss all difference
etc.
