Typfile Topo France V1

Hello,

I have the Topo of France V1 (a different file for all the different departments).
I want to change the way streets are showed but adjusting the typfile.
The problem with the typfile is that I can't change the way roads are showed. Yes I can change the look of highways but normal streets for riding with a bike are possible to change.
Is there anyone who can help me out?

What version of Mapsource are you using? Are your changes to the typ-file visible in Mapsource?

What GPS-are you using?
