as the title says, not much up on sports tyres so any advice greatly received!not lookin for super sticky tyres, just a good allrounder, bike is used every day for commute and fun. cheers.:thumb2

Not exactly 'super-sticky' but definitely more road biased - i put BT020s on my 1100 and they're great.

I probably wont buy Tourances again... they seem almost pedestrian in comparison... and NOISY compared to the Bridgestones

I understand that the 020 has been replaced... so when this set wear out I will very likely try the new tyres. - 021's

Agreeing with Tony, I've always used Bridgestones. Started with 020's & then got a cheap pair of 010's, just in time for going to the TT... Wow!! Confident, consistent performance & very neutral with a nice "turn-in". I tend to push the front quite hard & have never had any kind of "moment" with Bridgestones, even on the very edges of the tread. The latest ones are 014's & they're just the same.

Having said all of the stuff, above, I've got a hankering to try something different & am looking towards some Michelin Pilot Sport 2CT's but they're flippin' expensive. I might go for a set of Pirelli Supercorsa Pro's, if they come up at the right price. The worst thing that'll happen is that they'll confirm that I like Bridgestones...

If your on sports bike tyres (120/70/17-180/55) then the Michelin power 2ct are great tyres for sports riding even the odd track day, but if your comuting aswell and need more miles then the Michelin road 2 are the way forward slightly more expensive than the rest but grip wet/dry is great with very reasonable wear.
That said there is not really a bad tyre on the market, go for the sport/touring option, enough grip for road riding, if going Bridgestone go for the 021's the front wears better than the 020.
